I've got a couple old amps lying around and would like to add a sub.

Is there any way to do it?

I've just never heard of anyone trying this ......although I've sure lots have.

Yeah I was interested in trying that. I do not remember exactly how to do it. I know you have to get a dc/ac or ac/dc power convertor (not sure which one it is). That is all I know for sure. I think it was $500-$1000 to convert a car stereo into a home stereo including the sub.

Don't know if that helped much, but it should help somewhat.

Thanks, but I dont want to use a car headunit, or a 12v amp. I would like to use some of the poweramps I've got.

i really need to add some bass to my system, but I dont want to go out and buy a powered sub if i dont have to.....anyway, I've torn apart my car amp for parts so I have to use the poweramps if I'm going to do this.
