but, as they say, "I'm not suffering from insanity, I'm enjoying every minute of it"
I listen to music for hours every day.
I like all kinds of music, except most heavy metal. Which means at least 90% of what's on my playlist at any given time will not be approved of by those around me. That's how I've come to love headphones. When my philips broke (I now hate Philips. That product was self-destructive in any other enviroment than a locked and padded box) I finally started doing some -research- before buying new headphones about a month ago, and came to this place. Now Head-Fi is my latest craze. I've been watching you
I vuw my new sennies, they are a great improvement. HD25-1. Partly Because I heard (from another place than here though) that someone got his run over by a land rover with no damage, and other such accounts, and I wanted something that would really last this time. Well so now I've heard the revelation of good audio, and lurked here for a month, so now I'm set on the road to getting myself a great high-level rig. Eh, I said 'so now' two times too close too each other. Sounds bad. bah.
Anyway, I've picked up on most of your slang (but not yet the secret handshake) and some common knowledge too, but you're still gonna get some newbie questions from me. Thankfully you all seem very nice and helpful
I'll tell you who I am now, just for show
. I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I live in Denmark but because of all the time I spend on the internet, half of my thoughts are in English
. The songs I currently set to loop the most are by Radiohead (that changes every week or so). If I had a lot of money I'd spend them on an amazing hi-fi audio rig with cables worth hundreds of dollars, and after that start my dream collection of cool, stylized and futuristic swords and daggers with display stands, rawr!
