Can Griffin dock provide line out for sansa fuze with the newest firmware?

Don't expect answers to come instantly in any forum. Give it at least 24 hours. As far as the answer to your question, I have no idea. I myself just got a Sansa Fuze but haven't had time to mess with it.

I don't even own the fuze myself.
But i'm planning to get it and have read elsewhere that the griffin dock does provide true line-out.
Once again, i don't know this myself. I saw that you were real impatient and you might not have read it so i thought this could help.

"So Bob is almost correct here.

The Fuze outputs its signal to the Sansa Base station at Line out level and that does not change even though the volume changes while docked. THe Fuze actually controls an amplifier located in the base station which is in series with the line out. This same amplifier is also controlled by the IR remote.

Hope this clarifies. " by the Sansa moderator.
