Can Astro Mixamp (2013) power Beyerdynamic DT770 600 Ohms? I am debating whether or not to add an amp (little dot mkiii) to the equation, but since this is for gaming I do not need the absolute best sound. But, at the same-time, I don't want the mixamp to limit the headphones. So at the end of the day is an additional amp like the littledot mkiii a worthwhile addition.

I think I found my answer. The astro mixamp is rated at 50 ohms output so I will likely need an amp.

I believe the Astro Mix-amp is just about maxed out driving 250-Ohm Beyer headphones?
Do you already own the DT770 600-ohm headphones?
A Little Dot MKIII should do a good job of driving the Beyers.
