I'm considering having my 555es modded by SACDmods. But I also have a
SB3 that I use with a DA100. I'm wondering if the modded 555es will best the DA100. I've been told by one person that the difference between the two gives the modded 555 a slight edge over the DA100, but I'm not sure I want to spend on a "slight" improvement. I guess I'm afraid my ears won't hear it & I'll be dissapointed with my purchase. Anyone heard both of these that can offer an opinion?

What mods are you considering having done and what is the cost?

I have two highly modified players with new clocks, power supplies, Black Gates, OPA627's, fast-recovery rectifiers, etc. While these mods made an improvement to the original players, these two players are not significantly better (if at all) than my DA100.
