can a PA2V2 drive a DT770/250ohm alright? I had a T2ibasso ..and its dying out(due to physical damage when i slipped on ice last winter) And I need something to drive my Dt770s on the go....and Im in a tight situation for money..and these are pretty much as bang for buck atm for me...can a PA2V2 drive a DT770/250ohm alright? Also, if there is something better for the price let me know!

When I had my PA2v2 I tried it with my DT-770 80 Ohm and it struggled to deliver solid bass that can be had with AC powered amps. Bass wasn't as tight and lacked dynamics...and that was 80 Ohms. I've used DT-880 250 Ohm and of course they are quite difficult to drive.

My short answer is no...IMO of course.

I doubt the PA2V2 would be able to drive anything with high impedence very well as Gary states that his amps are built mainly for low impedence headphones.

You could always send Gary an email, He seems like an honest guy when I dealt with him.

I asked Gary (creator of PA2V2), and he says the PA2V2 should be fine with DT 770 Pro/250s.

He did say the PA2V2 is designed for 300-ohm-and-under cans, so the 770s are near the top of that, but their sensitivity level helps them work well with the PA2V2.
