Isn’t there hiss with the N6ii?

None with the A01 board and (to my ears) a negligible amount with the E02. I slightly prefer the punchier more liquid sound of the E02 over the S1 even though the former hisses slightly and the latter is dead silent. They're both wonderful though.

Well TBH I've never had balanced...by the time I was neck-deep in this hobby with 3.5 single ended, it was going to be too costly/cumbersome for me to flip everything (cables + DAP) to balanced.
So I've stuck with 3.5 for the time being. Call it laziness and being too cheap

Do you guys rly like the new tuning of the 2020 Solaris? I now could compare the OG and 2020 and can't stand the treble of the 2020. It's now too much V-Shape. It seems to be an Upgrade to much people, but i just don't like it. The smaler size is and allblack design is superior, but the sound not. I like the OG much more.

I found the 2020 to be closer to the SE specially in the highs. The OG is still the bass beast.

I've been eyeing up an N6II on Ebay. It comes with the E02 motherboard too, would you say that the E02 is the better of the two?

E02 is my favorite source for Solaris, though I know some (like @cr3ativ3 ) like the T01. E02 is definitely a step up from the A01 though.

agree , both T01 and E02 are a step up from A01 to my ears .

you wont regret , pairs very well with solaris and just great for on the go
