Enjoying the Acoustune 08 tips with the Solaris

The JVC Spiral Dots (v1 and v++) in size and shape seem more fitted for the Andromeda etc

Hanging up the Symbio W Peel for a bit. I wish they had five sizes instead of 3.

Have you tried New Bee tips?

They’re roughly the same shape as the symbio peels.

Are they the bee all and end all?

    No i haven’t.

I have a couple of silicone/foam hybrid tips. But usually the outside or inside is standard. With the Symbio the silicone is a decent firmness like the JVC Spiral Tips.

Aha well they are for me at least. :)
I have tried Spinfit, Spiral, Symbio peel/hybrids and final audio tips.

Firmness wise I’ll have to get back to you on that once I get home.

for me with solaris are the spirals the best choice :) spin fit "swallow" some frequencies to my ears. symbio´s 2nd best

Here are some pics of the New Bees next to the symbio peels, for both M and L sizes.

    Stiffness wise they’re identical.

Haha I tried the Spirals but my left ear is very picky. L keeps trying to slip out while ML doesn’t give me enough of a seal. My right ear takes ML easily.

Nice! That's what I am using =) The cable actually softens up physically with use so the microphonics I highlighted in my original post actually became less of an issue over time - looking forward to your listening impressions :gs1000smile:

I'm interested too! I have the Sony ZX300 and I find it fantastic because it is a small DAP with a great balanced 4.4mm output. I am trying to make a choise between the FiiO FH7, Campfire Solaris or something like Empire Ears Legend X. After you comment about the Legend X for bassheads, I think that I have to exclude this model from my list.
Days ago I tried the Sennheiser IE800S and for their cost (1000€) they are not making something of special than the Sony XBA N3BP.
I am searching for one of the best iem for a great balance, better than what I hear with the Sony XBA N3BP.
