Whoa ... that is quite a collection...
Noticed that there is no 2020 or earlier model, you do not like earlier productions?

I like plenty of their earlier models-- CFA is (understandably) interested in touring IEMs currently in their lineup.

Supermoon and maybe Clara seem to be the only ones that most people like.

All the ones I’m including in the kit are very popular.

Makes sense commercially ..
are you part of the CFA crew or have a deal to promote them?
It's a Watercooler Tour. Many manufacturers are touring equipment through our tour, not just CFA, though we highly appreciate their support!

"best" depends on preferences ... they have different tech inside and sound different.. OG is more V-shaped.

Thank you for the graph I always wanted to know if how may have affected the sound.
That is quite a collection!!! the limited editions Andros are so beautiful!
For me they’re the first iem I actually fell in love with considering I’m collecting them now. And before I bought the andromedas I tried a lot of earphones. I ended up circling back and since they changed the original sound with the 2020 I feel like I need to hold a few spares. I hope things bode well so I can keep them!
Thank you for linking this it according to the list it seems I may have collected them like Pokémon.

Anyone here using Pathfinder (A&K collab)?
I wonder how it would compare to Clara 🧐

Hello everyone. Thanks to @CFA Chris I have put together a Campfire Audio tour kit that will be starting in the US soon. Here is the kit:

Clara
Trifecta
Astrolith
Solaris
Bonneville
Fathom
Moonrover
Supermoon

I am including this amp with this kit as it was designed/tuned with planars and is absolutely mind blowing with the Astrolith.

Interested parties who are somewhat established on Head Fi and who agree to the conditions and processes are invited to register with the Watercooler Tour program.
This is epic!

I hope those who try Ari will like it :) Definitely has some magic with Campfire Audio planars as Jeff says. It's a Full Class-A amp stage using a unique topology and can be ran as DAC/AMP or just AMP.

Astrolith is magical with it. Clara too, but def more lush and emotional!

Campfire Audio has been on a back-to-back-to-back tear with their product launches. MoonRover is a great set at its price point for those wanting a neutral warm reference (super underrated).

To all tour members or those curious - I'm open to any questions with the Ari

The Trifecta has the best bass response of any IEM on the market. When it comes to sub-bass nothing else comes close...IMHO of course.

Clara > Bonneville though, if that's what you're asking. Planar bass has its own charm but it still can't quite top a good DD in terms of heft, grip and slam.

Campfire Audio Clara Ti

Listening impressions

Tested using Eletech Baroque tips, Timestream Ultra stock cable, and CMA Eighteen Master desktop DAC/amp. Crossposting from the WC thread.

A big thank you to a generous friend for sending these to me on loan.

Clara Ti has great bass, euphonic, colored mids, and a safe treble. It has a decent soundstage and great dynamics (bass dynamics especially). Resolution was just okay. There was slight apparent grain in the midrange and treble. The treble decay ended prematurely for some stringed instruments like violins. I’m wondering if the apparent mids/treble grain can be remedied with a cable swap.

Alessandro Cortini recommended trying AET07 tips and Timestream Duet (Clara regular stock cable) which he prefers for a more relaxed presentation compared to the Timestream Ultra cable that comes with Clara Ti. He mentioned it might help with the treble notes. He also likes Eletech Euclid as an alternative cable pairing.

Clara Ti has huge bass notes and bass dynamics with good tactility and slam. Bass texturing was really nice, bass speed isn’t the most nimble but it still kept up with most tracks.

Male vocal timbre was slightly odd on some tracks as if they were either missing some fundamental tones or had missing/skewed harmonics.

The included accessories are stellar and the Ti build feels very robust if somewhat heavy. The fit is incredible. My estimation is that Clara is a solid ~2k set from a technical standpoint so I’d recommend the resin version but Ti isn’t the best value imho.

Overall enjoyable set. Well-tuned for the most part if somewhat hampered by the resolution.

I’d give Clara an A overall for the resin version at $2k MSRP (assuming it sounds the same as Ti), and a B for the Ti at $3k MSRP (purely from a sound/value perspective).

That said, the Ti build is robust and inspires confidence. I really like the included accessories and the Ti cable has nice ergos. I’d 100% daily the Pelican case that comes included.

I suspect Clara/Clara Ti will have its admirers as more and more people get ears on it. I'm not a big Campfire Audio fan historically, but if they continue to launch sets like Clara, I might have to start paying attention.

Can anyone help me compare Darkstar with other Solaris series IEMs? I've only tried Stellar Horizon and it sounded awesome, while the price is crazily high for me. So I decide to see if I can get any alternative in the Solaris family but the only option that's available other than SH is Darkstar. Another IEM I've tried in this line-up is Pathfinder, this could be a reference. Honestly, the bass in Pathfinder is too much for me, while the Vega 2020 still sounds good even have much bass as well, the bass just ate up everything, the mids, treble, soundstage and details, everything just went behind the bass. I heard some reviews saying the Darkstar is also bassy and the treble is dark, mids is blunt, I'm kind of worried would that really be the case as well.
