Thanks for your suggestions. I’ll see what deals there will be around Black Friday, and probably I’ll pick something.

I don’t know why many of the model that picked my interest are all BAs; currently the IEM I’m using in DD and the only other experienced I had with IEM was with an Aful performer 5 (1Dd+4BA), tried for 2 weeks and then put on sale, because I didn’t like it at all.
So part of me actually is really scared to try BAs again 😂😂
You need to look at graphs and read some more reviews. Not all Iems with DD are super bassy. My guess is you would like a W vs. V. The Bonny would not be for you as it is very bassy for example. Tips can play a big role too. For your current iem try Tri Clarian tips. They are wider bore and will nuke a lot of bass out and allow treble to be more dominant and also open up stage some.

I been reading lot of reviews but sometimes I got to say are really misleading 😂.
Anyway I really the DD Iem I using right now (AKT9ie); for my little competence in IEM I can say they really balanced, good bass, not overpowering and good details. I’m eager to try more good IEMs for better understanding.

You are at the right place as Campfire has something for everyone. Reviews and graphs don't always tell the whole story. Campfire does have a very good return policy. If it's not for you it can be returned. They have excellent customer service.

Campfire iems are not like other iems. Even all BA ponderosa and fathom have great bass. Actually I bought the FATfreq deuce and listened to them for like 30 minutes and that was enough for me. It wasn’t pleasant. The Campfire bass sounded more natural than whatever that was producing.

Interesting, I tried for two weeks the Perform 5, but couldn’t like it at all; muddy, strange treble, don’t know if it was me, but couldn’t listen to it. I got scared it was because of BAs, because my other IEM is DD, and really like it.

Are you looking for something that is more reference or that follows the Harman curve?

Get Supermoon today!!! So excited to hear planar for the first time ever. Does it need to be broken in for 100 hours?

From my little experience I’d say more reference.
I am new to CA as well so do not know all the models well enough to point you in a particular direction. I have heard Clara they will be releasing sounds really good from a few friends. Not sure what its graph is. Supermoon is safer option tuning wise vs Astro I have been told. I will be able to comment on SM tonight. The IEM I use most of time at least right now would fit what you are looking for but its not a CA and is expensive but do own 2 sets as its a limited run model.

I did notice the sound change a little over time. They require more umph.
