Where can I get these hybrid foams?
There are plenty of cheap copies of them on Amazon but the official ones will set you back a bit. I recommend these, the best I’ve tried so far without such a steep price tag.

Timestream cable is a cheap POS. Reminds me of the lamp cable sitting on my desk. Incredibly disappointed in it, which seems it’s totally picked as a cost-cutting measure. Went for effect audio cables and haven’t looked back. Cleopatra on the Astro and Ares on the Fathom.

Also I said It once earlier and I’ll say it again: whoever is picking their standard tips has the sizes skewed waaay too small. I almost retuned the Fathom bc I didnt realize their L foam is actually a Medium (or ML?). Glad I remembered I had some spare Comply tips to compare it too. Absolutely ignorant to include the wrong size tips—you’re gonna lose customers! Like selling someone an M3 with all season or winter tires on it. Completely ruins the performance until you swap out tires.

While I won't say the Timestream is the best cable in the world, it is far from being a cheap POS. It is superbly built, got excellent aesthetics and handling ease, and sounds excellent not just in terms of stock cable, but also in comparison with many aftermarket cables. Perhaps more importantly, it suits my Supermoon and Solaris SH's sound profile very much. It may be cheaply made, but it is definitely well made, and I can't see anything wrong with the style, lamp cable alike or not.

I have cable rolled on my Supermoon and Solaris SH with Effect Ares II 12w, Effect Code 23, Plussound tri-silver, Pentaconn Plena Luna, and even my fav Crystal Cable Dream Duet etc. The only one(s) where I am totally happy with the sound is the Dream Duet with the SH, but the looks do not match too well. Soundwise and for looks I return to the Timestream for both. Not that the other cables I mentioned are inferior, they are just not a good match for one reason or another. I got all those cos they have good synergy with other iems of mine.

Bro you can't say "it may be cheaply made but it is definitely well made" you're contradicting yourself 💀

Complaining while using foam... and comparing it to an M3 on Pilot Sports or Pirelli tyre's...

You understand that Effect audios entry line are effectively sub 100 dollar cables marketed to an MSRP of up to 300$ This isn't the flex you think it is. But I agree they are solid "upgrades" or alternatives for the price in a world of 4 figure cables.

I believe the iems speak for themselves, any serious buyer investing over a grand to 3k USD isn't relying on stock tips. The customer base will be just 🙂👍🏼

Not really. It's simply not a $2,500 cable made with the same materials 😉

The great thing for all of us is we have options. We can spend lots of money on cables and tips but the great thing is we can customize our Iems to our own liking. Personally I don't care for the paring of time steam to Bonny but that is OK and why I will have two other cable options very soon. Even on +$2k 64 Audios I never used stock tips and totally fine with that. Part of the fun in this hobby is to get what we have to sound the best to our own ears. The Effect Audio Ares S II cable is hand made. I have one on the way direct from Effect. Will be made and ready to ship early next week. $200 is nothing these days.

Guys something can't be cheaply made AND well made.

Things can. And things can also be hand-made with expensive and exquisite materials yet still be poorly made/constructed. There aren't just one single meaning of the word "cheap". Peace and enjoy what we enjoy.
