Hey,

I was just wondering if anyone else knows what’s going on with my 4.4m Litz from Campfire Audio.

I had a 3.5mm Litz with my Vegas, and I used that for over 7months. It has always stayed super bright white. All the PVC is perfect.

Now, the 4.5mm I bought later, from the same place as my Vegas (in the UK), and ever since they arrived they’ve been really yellow. I thought maybe that it’s because the cable was slightly heavier, so ignored it. BUT, I’ve since noticed that they’re going even more yellow. Even the ear connectors and wrap overs are REALLY yellow. The cable seems to be going that way too. I’m super annoyed, as I feel that they’re not the same quality plastic that the original 3.5s are made of.

I’ve literally babied these things, never taken them outside, and always put them in a case when not in use. :frowning2:

See attached piccy.

I contacted CA, and they said the 3.5s are slightly more ‘crystalline’ than the 4.4, BUT that doesn’t explain the yellowness from the outset.

Any ideas? Should I push for a replacement?
