Sounds like vega will be right up my street but ill give the lyras a spin 1st.

For those of you using dap, what do you prefer? I've added fiio x7 2 and opus #2 to the list. Might try all 3 for a week and see what I prefer.

Tonight I started just using my CF Vegas straight out of my Sony A17 DAP playing HiRez tunes. Chrisp clean sound with great bass. Very nice small portable combo. This is a very simple DAP and easy to use. I have been using Oppo HA2 for amp and am not sure it sounds better that way.

Nice to see someone else using the A17. I love mine with Vega. Hoping to be able to afford to upgrade to the new zx300 eventually.

Unboxed my Vegas and gave them a try. They are amazing. Warm and lush, but still great detail. Strong bass, but smooth and not overwhelming. I prefer them to the Shure 846, something I thought I would never say.

Tried a new (to me) Mojo with an iPhone 8+ and the Vegas. Sounds a little better than the regular lightning adapter. Just a little more clarity and the bass is slightly tighter. Whether it's worth an extra $400 is debatable. Will give the Vegas a try with some of the DAP's mentioned on here next year.

Hi everyone,

I am looking for an iem that would play slow song like vega and fast song like andromeda. Is there any iem that has the characteristic.

If anyone of you have vega, try playing this song and you will know what i mean. It feels as if time has slow down.

Left bud stopped working again. Took them out to get ready for bed. Put them back in, and L was no longer working. Just emailed to send them back for repair. Wondering if it will be as quick as last time. Fingers crossed.

Did the stock cable on the Vega need some kind of Burn-in ? Because actually, im using my Fiio balanced cable that was on the Fiio F9, and the mid are more clear and the bass is tighter... from a AK70 balanced...

Most people recommend at least 100 hours of burn-in for cables
