Is the Onyx just a black Honeydew?

I wondered the same at first, but from the description Onyx has 1DD and 1BA vs the Honeydew single DD. The Sonic Signature info campfire do provide makes it look a bit more like a Dorado maybe?

I'll know more when mine arrives in a week or so.

The official Campfire account on Instagram said that the Onyx are somewhat between the Honeydew and the Satsuma...

I get that they are hybrids, DD/BA, but the Honeydew are bass heavy, and the Satsuma are very flat... So maybe they are just V Shaped

Funny thing was I had it in my cart night before but didn’t feel like pulling the trigger hoping the “King” edition would be a new revelation of a prototype product so good - DD with a whole lotta love w BAs across mid and highs , but that didn’t turn out as I had expected (most of yous as well I would imagined).

It’s all good though. Still ended up able to get it. I think the best release with the multiverse was the AndroGo Ti. In terms of specifications and additions to an already amazing footprint.

I can just hear the Campfire engineers: Let’s work on the Ara and slap in 2 additional BAs and use the 5 BAs setup from the 2020 Andros and see where this love take us…
Then let’s schedule a listening meeting for Ken Ball himself to have a listen.
Update team: “Ken loves it and approved.”

And so sparked the movement for these…and the AndrosGo Ti became a “thing”
