I will give first impressions this weekend, but I don't think my ears are experienced enough with IEMs for a detailed review. I will leave that up to the pros on here :L3000:

Hmmm, interesting. I’m just considering getting into the world of IEMs, having never owned any in the past. I was thinking about just diving in deep and getting the Meze Rai Penta, to save myself a cycle of upgrades, but new Campfire models at an affordable price have me intrigued.

Ha! I went to my dictionary app because I was curious and it gave an audio pronunciation of "ee-oh."

No matter how it's pronounced, I'm looking forward to giving the IO a listen.

Damn the price is just amazing!

Ordering these tonight. Really like CA IEM's.

$299 seems like quite a reasonable price ("reasonable" for audio nuts like us that is), that puts it directly in competition with quite a few solid IEMs (XBA N3, Etymotics ER4s, FLC 8s, etc). Extremely curious about the sound quality comparatively.

Even the Travelocity gnome posted, never quite seen interest in IEMs like this before. More hype for the IO then Avengers Endgame??

Just ordered the Massdrop Plus, now I’m having regrets before I even get them. Thanks Ken. *sweats in poor spending habits*

Would love to know how these sound compared to the Andromedas.

It reminds me of this. (OK, now I know IO is one of the moons of Jupiter and it is different from the (red) comet).

I would suggest naming Campfire's next flagship "Black Hole" (and paint it in matte black), as the Campfire and ALO have been trying to absorb my money.

Campfire makes the prettiest universal IEMs in the game. Hope it sounds as stunning as it looks.

Agreed, it was what drew me to their brand originally.

You won’t have any regrets. The MD+ are very good and competitive up to like $800.

Oh I know, I've owned them before and felt they were one of the few things in audio (that I have tried) worth their full asking price. I know I'll like them, but Campfire is such an exciting brand. Their in ears are gorgeous and they seem to be trying things other brands don't. I've owned their Orion's and felt like the mids, separation and build were way beyond their price point. I've also tried the Lyra 1's and...they're eh.
