The bass is a bit dependant on what it is used with. It is a bit lighter out of my iPhone 6 and Soundaware M1, but the mid-bass is stronger out of a Mojo or regular amp. This using the included Comply foam tips.

No, have you heard it? Because if you have you would find it completely different.theyre not even remotely close.
I had V8 and U12. So I am asking the % of difference.

I can't give you a percentage, but while the v8 has a huge bass, the a8 is very well balanced to me with a slightly enhances bass, very clean, transparent :)
Thanks for the useful information.

The Nova is growing on me more and more.

I like its sound signature. Quite fresh.

Pairs well with the Opus #1.

You sir just raised my excitement level even more! lol

I should recheck my blog reviews of the Nova l, Andromeda and Jupiter and see If there is anything to add after some time has passed.

Uh ... No? I wouldn't ever recommend throwing down a thousand dollars on something unless you were sure of the sort of signature you're chasing. Have you ever heard the Zero Audio Tenore? That's a phone with a similar tonal balance/voicing to the Andromeda that many here will have had experience with. If you like the Tenore, you'd probably like the Andromeda.
