One of the obvious change that Gold brought over OG, besides being much elevated, was that the bass was much more defined / cleaner. The mids are also more pure, if a bit thinner.

Did the MW10's bass improve in the same way?

Yes but less emphasized. I like vocals on the MW10 most, superb clarity.

Yup, limited to Japan as well.

Andro was third best selling IEM at e-earphone in Japan this year (behind only the Z1R and, oddly, the special edition LX)....so it's not surprising they're getting these.
