Campfire Q4 has arrived! :) And happy to say, the sound is as good as it looks. Beautiful finish, and colour. A high quality sound (will expand more later). You also get a Final Type-E tips, and a blue leather pouch with soft grey wool-like material on the inside.Very comfortable to wear, both its tips and smoky cable.

As for the sound, here is my initial impression:
The first thing which comes to mind would probably be the treble. The Q4 has very high resolution, partly due to its well tuned extended treble. It's not peaky, or mixed with dips. Relatively flat, and far-reaching. Balanced, and highly transparent. Highly accurate tone, with little coloration. Making it suitable for studio recording mixing, as well as personal enjoyment.
It's not warm, and each notes are light and felt silk-like airy. Which in consequence gives it a good level of separation between instruments.
Very clear, and realistic-sounding midrange. It's never harsh, or becoming too analytical. Vocals and main instruments are positioned/centered well, not too forward, nor recessed. And it is very accurate, and has just enough power/mass within to give it its balance.
The soundstage is medium-sized. Not too big, but highly proficient in its layering. Great at listening to multiple instruments, as well as female vocals, acoustic guitars and violins. Its airy notes create this spacious unbounded feel in its presentation. :sky:

MW10 was very good, and compared to the green Andromeda side-by-side it felt more detailed/resolving, a little clearer in the mids with tighter bass. Engaging to listen to

How did you folks outside of Japan manage to order stuff off of e-earphones or Fujiya Avic? Did you need to get a friend in Japan to order for you, or order through a 3rd party forwarder of sorts?

Fujiya is tricky and only allows local issued credit card. Hence you either need a local who has one to buy for your or to go through a forwarder with addidiotional fees.

E ear phones is simpler as it allows globally issued credit cards. Don't use their forwarding global delivery service as it is very expensive always

Thanks for the advice. Sounds like it'll be a complicated (and/or expensive) process to get audio gear from Japan if you don't know a local who can buy for you. Might be better to stick to international releases unless one happens to be in Japan on vacation.
