Received my Campfire Andromeda IEM's and the sound quality jumped light years ahead.

One thing I wonder: certain instruments seem to be strange, as if they don;t belong in the song. Kinda like off beat. The song would sound better if it were not present. Does this happen with every song: no. Certain songs have this.

An assumption: Andromeda is sooooo good that I start to hear bad musical details that kinda camouflaged with cheaper IEM's? Is that even possible?

If the instrument tonality seems off, I recommend tip rolling, as your fit may be skewed (I had a similar issue with my N3s, a longer tip to driver distance resulted in artificial sounding mids).

Either that, or the music is just bad. Perhaps try different songs?

Thank you. Does this explain it well what you mean ?

Also, just pushing a IEM into the ear is then very wrong i guess, I should push and twist the IEM I guess?

Oh tip rolling is just a term for trying out different tips, but that article does demonstrate the proper technique for using foam tips. Different eartips result in different insertion depth and frequency attenuation, which is why it is such an important part of IEM use.

Basically, if the sound is off, try using different eartips (foam, silicon) from different manufacturers, and see what works best for ya. Some popular tips are Sony hybrids, spinfits, symbio peel, comply, jvc spiral dot, etc
