This thread needs more Tracer Bullet (see my avatar).

Even though I'm pretty sure I have all the individual books, I'm still getting this.

My brother and I are huge fans of Calvin & Hobbes - I hope he gets one for me (hint, hint - I know you're reading this thread, Leeav)!

Calvin & Hobbes finally get a boxed set? Dang! Sounds sweet, but I'm not as into comics right now as I am into art books, but heed my words, the time will come and I shall laugh with the lot of you

Someday, Calvin & Hobbes, someday...

I dunno, Abe. Better hope Bill Watterson isn't a Head-Fi'er as I think he considered his work as art.

True, but I mean like Yoshi taka Amano and stuff. I've never seen him do comics

, but he did do some insane Superman, Batman, and Wolverine/Elektra(or was it Psylocke?) posters at one point.

And I agree with Squeek, his work is defintely something special, I'm a big fan too!

Anybody get it?

I forgot all about it and ran into it at Chapters today when I was on my lunch break. Needless to say, I lugged the 30lb behemoth back to work with me.

I finally saw it at my local Borders. It was pretty sweet, but the price tag is suicide on my wallet

It looked like a frickin' masterpiece though.

I saw this in Costco the other day and seriously considered buying it. But I just didn't have the 86 bucks to spend on it.
I must say it was beautiful. I think I will buy it when I have the money

I saw it at my BN store where I work. It retails for $150. I can get it for $95.40 USD including 6% NJ sales tax anytime. BN members get an additional 10% off compared to BN employees so it's $85.86 USD including NJ sales tax with free UPS Ground shipping because the item is over $25 USD. That is a heck of a deal.
