Hello friends

I recently bought the hifiman cobalt for modding practice but it is sad they don't provide balanced cable.
But I have a few dual 2.5mm (to headphone) to 2.5mm (to dap) lying about which I bought for the m1060c during modding days.
Can I check with the cable experts here if I can buy two 2.5 to 3.5 adapter (the hifimans use dual 3.5mm) and reuse those dual 2.5mm cables with the hifiman cobalt?

Thanks in advance!

I think I would go with a new cable as a 3.5 dual to 2.5 you can get on Amazon for under $20 . Adapters will be cheaper but will put the cable closer to your shoulders and if you tilt your head and turn will most likely grab on clothing causing stress on the connection.

Youkamoo makes affordable balanced cables in 2.5mm and 3.5mm for Hifiman and others. I get them on Amazon and they're the same price as most adapters. The newer black matte ones look a lot better than the grey ones.

I was thinking angled adapters. But will those 2.5 to 3.5 adapters spoil my amp or headphones? XD

Those adapters are transparent if connectors are clean and not defective. Just with new cables you can pick the length and cost is so close it helps if you ever sell them. Braveheart on AliExpress are really high quality also. I buy those whenever I have time to wait, Youkamoo on Amazon when in a hurry.
