I traded My norhs 6.6 in for some dynaudio 122 floor standers today, and thank you to Recstar for giving me the heads up on them.

The soundstage is amazing on the 122's compared to the norhs.

I have a 55watt tube amp coming in June from Bizzybee audio, rite now I am running the 122's on a very under powered diy amp with 8 watts...lol
still sounds good enough for now and it clips once and awhile in the big sonic music. once the 55 watt amp comes in I should be good...hehehe

I didn't want to rain on your parade back when you were getting your norh's...You're always so enthusiastic about your purchases! But I could have told you that the xover design of the norh was a bit fishy

sorry this took so long, I didnt get a email...thought no one cared..lol

anyway the new amp from Paul is going to have a remote, and he is aiming the power at 60x2. the amp will be able to do kt-88's or el-34's and another one I think.

here is more info...

I heard his cayin modded out ta-30 and I have to tell you this guy knows how to play with amps and make the affordable. look on audioreview.com or audioaslyum for the reviews of his ta-30.
their are 2 or 3 for sale on audiogon now to, but I am holding out for the bigger power and remote model.

Omg getting bass or low end out of these is like sucking goodness out of the devil...its not going to happen.

They sound clean and well off but they were not for 2 channel at all. nice finish on them though.

the reason why I went with dynaudio 122 is because I was planning on buying the Dynaudio 72se's later this year ($2500 retail, still going to demo them later). I really was looking for a good floorstander that had a front firing port. Their is tomuch in my room to get rear ported speakers, and I have a tile floor so down firing is null and void.
