Buying Used...

I found a pair of used HD650s on a website, and i will probably end up getting them, but what should i be worried about in terms of headphone quality. Ive never heard anything in the HD6xx line, so what should i be concerned about when i get them. Does anybody have any experience in what can go wrong with HD650s? How important is the warranty on Senns?

I wouldn't be concerned at all about the warranty since the HD650 holds up well. I'd be much more concerned about whether it had been modded in any way, how long it had been used as a likely indication of its general cosmetic condition, and if there are any worn spots on the ear pads from rubbing against face stubble.

As far as the quality of how they sound, you'll want a good DAC and need a capable amp. I suggest checking out the respective HeadFi forums for those items.
