Hey everyone,

pretty new here, but I have decided to purchase the Grado SR80i as entry-level cans.

I got a quick question here:

1. Where can I get them online for Canadians with decent S&H?

Thanks guys

MS1. $99 with free shipping (international)

Otherwise, I don't know of any international Grado sellers. THEY EXIST, I just don't know any.

No difference really in terms of bass, I find the pads can affect this as well as the housing depth

They're shipping the new MS1, which has the same housing and cable improvements as the new "i" grados

Wrong. The cable is the same FWIR. No cable upgrade. Oh, and, they still sell both. It's weird, but it's how you access the website.

They STILL sell both versions.

MS1i > SR80i

Oh, and how long is the shipping process? 2-3 weeks

That's the general consensus. As far as shipping goes, I'm not sure, but I've read that some Canadians have received theirs in less than a week. Alessandro won't give you a tracking number or any notification that your phones have shipped- you'll know once your credit card has been charged. If it's been a week and you haven't been billed, Alessandro is probably waiting on a new shipment (happens all the time).

Enjoy your new cans!

If you're going to buy the MS-1i or SR-80i (shouldn't be a huge difference between the two, the MS's are usually more reserved, though), please make sure you buy a pair of the "bowl" (L) pads to go with them because the standard pads, the "comfy" (or S) pads ruin the sound.
