So I wast thinking about getting a pair of headphones for 50~70$.
I'm currently looking at :-
-Audio-Technica ATH-M30X
-Panasonic RP-HTF600-S
-Koss ProDJ100
-JVC HARX900
-Monoprice 108323
I mostly listen to rock, R&B, pop and some metal. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Can't go wrong with some good, old-fashioned Grado sr60e on-ears for $79 for rock and punk.
http://www.amazon.com/Grado-Prestige-Series-SR60e-Headphones/dp/B00KYTNU9U

Or the Sennheiser HD 518 over-ears for $74 for overall quality
http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-518-Headphones-Black/dp/B0042A68R8

I also know someone who has the AKG K240 for about $68, and they seem to be pretty good, too.

Maybe a bit over your range, but overall worth it in my opinion.

Well, these 3 don't ship to Saudi Arabia (where I live) and therefore aren't really an option.
If you don't want open phones, discard the grado option. What's your source equipment out of curiosity. Sometimes certain DAP & headphone combinations are known for having great synergy.

I do prefer closed headphones. My main sources will be my PC (built-in sound card) and my HTC one m8, no fancy hardware.

I've owned 3 of the headphones on your list and would still prefer the Gemini HSR-1000 (or Takstar Pro 80).
Wow Saudi Arabia, My lily white skin would get a sun burn in less then five minutes being outside there.

I'll definitely consider the Gemini phones, thanks!

If you would like some headphones with a bit of bass emphasis, grab these Onkyos:

Woot.com has the Onkyo ES-CTI300(BS) On-Ear Headphones with Control Talk for iOS Devices with Hi-Fi Cable - Black/Silver

For $59

Pretty great deal.

Here's a review of the version with the regular cable: http://www.innerfidelity.com/content/delightful-onkyo-es-fc300-and-es-hf300

They'll sell out FAST at that price.

I would assume an outdoor social life starts at around midnight?

Sorry to get his hopes up.

And mine

That's a wicked deal though. I was thinking about getting a pair of them before I got my MF100's. For that price I'd buy them anyway, if it wasn't for my darn Britishness

With the upcoming election here and the possible option of an EU Referendum (Should I stay or Should I go? Scenario) maybe we should join the USA so we can get better deal on phones. Just thought I'd throw the idea out there
