Yep, the FSP is a great one, but I like the Yamaha HPH-MT220 even more -- especially now that I have put gauze under the ear pads and moved my ears to the front of the pads. Blows away every other headphone I've heard now, in some ways. And it's just $150! (Sold for $399 a year or two ago.)

The harman/kardon CL, with a well-matched cable [like the Pipeline ET-4 and a 1/8-to-1/16 inch adapter], might be worth a try.  Some undue lower midbass emphasis at times, but overall a fairly balanced, detailed, lively and engaging listen for "classic" Rock and Pop.

Am enjoying the remastered/HDCD version of Grateful Dead [WB 1967/2003] with the CL as we speak.  I have also enjoyed the [modded and unmodded] Martin Logan Mikros 90, coupled with the affordable Auvio cable, for Rock and Pop venues.

The CL may be gotten right now for as little as $50-ish/shipped through eBay or Amazon.
