Buying 240GB iPod Video 5.5g

Since I never opened iPod, I was thinking maybe to purchase already upgrade iPod 5.5g with 240GB HDD. My questio is, is the difference in money big if I do it by myself or if I buy already upgraded? And second, where should I do my shopping, I heard about iPodZens, don't know if they're legit, and saw couple of eBay items, someone said they were some Chinese fakes ones, and advice?

I am waiting to receive a 120GB HDD (bought from ebay) to upgrade my 8yrs old iPod 5g/30GB. Part of the reason doing this is to have some fun actually upgrading it myself. Hopefully it won't turn out to be a disappointment. I wouldn't do it if it is not for the Rockbox.
 
You may take a look at the sale forum at head-fi to see if anyone selling an upgraded ipod with that storage or you can place a WTB there. If I didn't own the iPod 5g/30GB, I may just buy a 5.5g and upgrade the baby to 240GB myself.
