Hello, this is my first post and to tell the truth, I'm not that familiar with the types of headphones or acoustics.
But let's get to the point. I want to buy a proper closed back headphone that I would use at home only. The focus would be on the following things:
Mainly: Immersive gaming, music, !!!proper sound isolation!!!(This is also the reason for closed back)
Decent: Competitive gaming

Mostly I want the headphones for gaming(Sound isolation so that my mic won't pickup the sound during competitive play), but also a good quality when I want to listen to music. Regarding the music genre, there is really nothing specific as I just listen to anything I like regardless of the genre. However, things like Techno, Electro, House etc... probably won't be on the list.

It might seem like a little bit too much for one headphones. I have read the Mad Lust Envy's gaming guide and a lot of reviews for the closed back headphones to find the proper ones for this job. From what I read the Mr. Speakers Alpha Dogs seemed like a perfect headphones for me, but unfortunately they are not sold anymore. I also thought the Denon D7000 might be good but those are not sold anymore as well. Then I saw that Mr. Speakers released the new AEON headphones. I have read a review on headphone guru and the feedback on these headphones and I really wanted to buy these but the problem is that if it was shipped from USA to EU I would have to pay like additional 300-400 euros just for taxes and toll. Or are the AEONs better than other headphones within the same price range even with the tax and toll price added?

Therefore I decided to ask for help here on the forum so that I can get proper advice for which headphones to buy and that would be available on EU market. The budget for the headphones would be let's say that I'm willing to pay up to 1000€ for a quality headphones.

This description might not be the best to help me choose the proper headphones but if any more information regarding this is needed, I'm happy to provide.

300 to 400 added is just insanity. I would rant about it but I'm sure I would be cut off and my post deleted. So I will just say holly crap do you have to pay a lot more.

I'm only speaking in generalities with my limited experience with closed back headphones, but they really aren't designed with competitive gaming in mind.
Sound quality aside, which someone asked about your preferences already, the crucial bits for competitive gaming are sound stage width, depth, and imaging accuracy. I've heard of some closed backs that do well in these categories, but from the ones I've tested, they usually have mediocre sound stages at best, and if you're lucky, accurate imaging. The Fostex TH-x00 maybe should be on your radar, though I think I recall hearing their isolation was meh. I don't know what your target budget is, but maybe the T50rp's could be on your list too?

I can also add, that money being no influence on the decision, the Ether's are INCREDIBLE.

What sort of sound signature do you prefer? Bass-prominent, mids forward, treble emphasized, neutral, or some combination of the above?

I guess I would prefer a neutral or something closer to neutral. Maybe a little bit more bass, but too much would be a problem for the competitive gaming.

There have been a few AEONs for sale from EU (no import taxes) on the forums here. Might be worth keeping an eye out. e.g.

https://www.head-fi.org/f/threads/mr-speakers-aeon-sold.851928/ - Now sold

There is also the Ether C by MrSpeakers:

If you are patient you should be able to find a good deal.

Thanks a lot for the info, I didn't explore the trade section. I will try to keep an eye on that, even though I'm a little bit skeptical regarding these kinds of forum trades.

I know that open-back headphones are much better for competitive gaming but what is necessary for me right now is sound isolation. So the closed-back headphones that do well in the categories you mentioned above would be good for me even if they can't compare to open-back with precision etc... Maybe later if I have spare money I will buy a proper open-back headphones as well for cases when I won't have other 4 people on team speak.

The target budget is as stated in the title (Or the first post description) up to or about 1000€ as long as it delivers the quality worth that price.
If in the end I decide to go for a lower priced headphones I might reconsider the ones you mentioned as I already did some research on those before.
By Ether's you mean the open-back or the closed-back Ether-C's?

Ether C Flow's, as the previous poster mentioned. I got to try them at a recent audio event.
That said, I own the Ether (open back, nonflow) and absolutely love those as well.

If I recall, the Fostex TH-x00 are supposed to share some lineage with the Denon's you're looking for. There's several variants, with different wood used for the cups. I'm trying to remember if the standard model was supposed to have the smallest bump in treble of the bunch. I think that was the case, but I know there are some FR graphs which would give you a more definitive answer.

If the lowest common denominator is going to be sound isolation, and I may be off on this, but the most proven ways of preventing sound leaking out are IEMs, and some of the "dj" style headphones with the clamping pressure of Thor's hand on one cup, and a beckoned Mjollnir on the other, like the ATH-M50s, or the Sennheiser HD 25-1 ii's
