Hi, I currently own a pair of Sony XB30EX IEMs and I have an issue with my phone's audio output when it comes to bass, it starts clipping at a volume level which is definitely not satisfactory for my taste.

If I can invest 110$, should I just get an amp or get headphones as well?

Maybe invest into a DAP, like the FiiO X1 Gen II.

I'm not sure if my existing output isn't loud or if it isn't just loud enough for me.
Also, I might bad a new smartphone soon, so no DAP, for now.
