Hello guys, one of my Wharfedale diamonds is making a weird cracking noise when i push the cone in slightly. There appears to be something wrong when playing low frequency sounds as well. I can hear the cracking noise as the cone moves back and forth. How can I identify the problem here? Thanks!

I have identified the problem. The area where the voice coil and the cone are glued together is coming loose, which in turn is creating all the cracking noises when the driver moves in and out. Should I just apply some super glue to fix the problem? Thanks!

I personally wouldn't. Not because I have any idea how it would affect sound, just because they will still be under warranty. (just remembering from your other posts you have the 10.1's)

Take them back. Did you buy online or from a store?

Just remember if you do return them don't tell them you had the driver out.

Well, it's too late to try to tell me not to do it

because I already have and the sound seems to have returned to the original condition. It only happens when laying really low frequencies anyway, so I shouldn't worry too much as long as I stop playing bass tests on youtube hehe. Also, I would have returned them to the shop if the shop was in the same country I am living in right now, which is not the case unfortunately. Also, trying to convince a bunch of unqualified audio salesman that the drivers make cracking noises because the area where the cone and spider are attached is coming loose will not be as easy as one might think. As long as the music I listen to sounds good without any signs of distortion, I should be able to keep the warranty card for some other time
