Well I'm new here as you'll notice. Been browsing for over a year on and off but never made an account.
I finally got myself a pair of Grado SR60s on Wednesday and am very happy with them.

Ever since I read about CMoy's I've wanted to build one, for the experience and the after product. I can solder pretty well and I know I can build one.

I'm going to use Tangent's instructions along with a OPA2132PA seeing as he recommends that for first time CMoy builders. I'm going to use a socket so I can change out later if I feel like it.

What I was wondering is if it's possible to put two stereo 3.5mm outputs on a CMoy so its possible for two cans to listen at the same time? I realize that if using different cans this will have different volume levels.

I'm sure it's possible but I'm wondering how I'd wire this?

Thank you all for any help, this is my first post.

Normally you would wire them in parallel. Whether or not a single opamp can drive two cans at once is unknown. Wiring the outputs in parallel will also have the negative effect of cutting the headphone impedence in half (if they are the same headphones). For example, if you plug in two sets of 32 ohm phones, the impedence the amp will see is 32 in parallel with 32, or 16 ohms. Most opamps will not provide enough current to drive low impedences well. You can try it...

Yes I figured such would happen. Not worth it then I'm sure. I'll just do one output.

Thank you for the welcome

My wallet's pretty small so not much damage can be done at this point haha.
