I made one, somewhat similiar, but I used a shop vac, so talk about ghetto

But, my RCM is in my garage, so who cares what it looks like, no WAF to worry about.

If I had the money, I would buy a loricraft, but this will do until then.
I tried to buy a cheap nitty gritty from audiogon yesterday, but I was too slow. I am not sure the nitty gritty would do a better job, but I thought it might be a little easier to use.

The one thing I have not done is make a record clamp. So thanks for the link, I think I will cut one out of MDF this week sometime.

Try washing it in the sink with dish detergent and rinse with water. Pat dry with lint free paper towels. Best method there is and free.

Not free, but a hell of alot cheaper than commercial record vacs, and works quite well. A bit of elbow grease and prep involved tho... And I would bet it works better than dish detergent (because of the brushes), but I've never tried that alone.
