Hey guys,

I've been wanting to use my iPod as a source with my amplifier. The amplifier I want to use only has the red and white rca inputs. I thought it would be easy to find a nice budget priced cable that goes from the line out of the iPod to a set of rca plugs. I've spent the last hour google and head-fi searching. Turns out I'm only able to find incredibly expensive ones.

Is there anyone out there that for a budget price can sell me theirs, make me one, or direct me to a site where I can order one? I'm not interested in getting a dock/sendstation and attaching a mini plug. I'm still unable to post in the classifieds section so I can't post a wtb there.

Thanks for the help!

Here's one in my country; you can try registering in the forum and shoot the DIY-er a message and get an idea how much shipping will be if he's willing to ship overseas. Cable alone is around US$35 though, but uses Amphenol plugs and quality cable. http://www.pinoydvd.com/index.php/topic,166936.0.html

Here's a cheap one off Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Line-Cable-Apple-Photo-Video/dp/B00538AHE8/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1351682223&sr=8-8&keywords=LOD+to+RCA

Just an alternative though - why not a media dock (or at least has a 3.5mm output out back) to also keep it upright (there are knock-offs on eBay) then get a 3.5mm to RCA cable?
