BSG Finale

I hope it'll be good! This season had some really slow sections, with whole episodes devoted to a single character or motif. The show really needs to regain the sense of urgency it had that made lines like 'we need to start making babies' make perfect sense.

However, I have the same problem with Lost, which is also now in S3. I suppose you can't keep things fast paced for that long whether you're in space or on some mysterious island

agreed. while i'm looking forward to the season finale, i've been disappointed with some of the episodes this season...considering i ran through the first couple of seasons in a span of 10 days and got engrossed in the show, it's expected to have somewhat of a letdown now that i only get my fix once/week.

while the trial of baltar and the conflict b/n the adamas is pretty good, i hope we get hints about the fate of starbuck. let's also get some storylines with athena!

Ahah I got caught up in like 3 days. I downloaded the mini series, and seasons 1,2 and 3 up to I think it was episode 13. I watched them all in a weekend. Didnt get much sleep. As for what I expect, I hate the fued between the adamas, its pretty childish and stupid, I want some more cylon action.

Well, now we wait until 2008. =\
I liked the last 10 minutes of the finale. After watching the repeat it felt kind of cheesy. Maybe I'm finally burning out on BSG (been a fan since the mini first aired).

Then again, maybe it's the hiatus that's got me down...

looks like my wishes were granted...starbuck is, well, who knows who/what the heck lee saw out there...and something's going on with athena, the baby, and six. but waiting until 2008?!?! bad PR move, IMO...

Wow. Just wow. Episode 19 wasn't so good, it was pretty obvious Baltar would be set free.

Episode 20? I was just blown away by the last ten minutes, and revealing the ending song in snatches was a brilliant device. "Oh my the entire cylon fleet jumped into our area&*^&#*$!" is back, and it is so, so good. Well, they've gone back to the quality of the earlier stuff, which is good to see.

Anyone know the name of the song perhaps?

I'm just glad that Tory, Rosalyn's assistant (Rekha Sharma), is getting a larger role. She is hot!

Lots of new possibilities. A "resurrected" Starbuck would be a bit cliche though. And 2008 for the next season is way too long. Is that what it takes for good TV these days???

I was looking all over for the remake of "All Along The Watchtower". It's done by Bear McCreary, who does all the music for the show. Not available at the moment, but will be included on the Season 3 soundtrack when released, according to Bear's website. Excellent remake, belongs on the "Cover songs better than the orginal" thread over on the music forum.

As for the finale, I only started watching unfortunately the last few episodes, but the show seems top notch. Time to Netflix the previous seasons and the miniseries and catch-up.

If I'm not mistaking there will be a dvd movie before season 4. That will also come with a new OST. The OST's of BSG have been great thus far so I hope this one will also rock.

*Starbuck.... yeah, most people figured she's be back before she was even dead.

*Watchtower - Kinda cool. 'Bob Dylan in Space!'

Otherwise I liked the finale of S2 alot more.
