Need a bit of advice. My OH's klipsch x10i earphones have broken, they're not working in one ear.
 
Now they are 3 months over the 2 year warranty, but does anyone think the sale of goods act would apply here? Amazon don't think so, because they argue that due to the length of time owned and the fact no problem has been reported till now that they can't do anything.
 
They're not really fit for purpose if they lasted such a short amount of time surely? I've seen so many problems online complaining about the poor build quality, and at one time I had a pair myself and I eneded up returning them for a refund.
 
I guess it might be hard proving they had a pre existing fault, but under this act goods are covered up to six years. What does everyone think? Or am I just wasting my time complaining?
