HEX semi tears down driver compared to HEK's

Right's HEK, the coils are wider

and HEK diaphragm looks more transparent

Do you own both or have you heard both? I’ve wondered how they compare to each other.

I tried the heimdall 2cable against the stock hekv2 cable, the difference was minimal. But the Heimdall 2 souded a tiny bit smoother with a tiny bit less detail

3 cables that have received great reviews are Lavircables Master Silver, Danacables Lazuli Reference and Toxic Silver Widow.

I think Jazz did a review of the Master Silver, but I can't find it now.
Plenty of other cables mentioned in that thread, including lots of love for DHC, but the latter are generally too expensive for me.

I like Toxic Cables cables, especially SW22 (Silver Widow 22AWG). The cable I use with my HE-1000v2 is a reterminated ALO Audio Reference 16, originally used with HE-500s and adapted by the renowned Oscar Stewart.

Not so breaking news anymore but why so quite here in the last 3 years?
Little love for the V2 because to early after V1 and to soon before SE?

Just updated from Arya to HE1000V2, which I find even more addictive than the Arya.
Soundstage is so wide and they are so detailed and for me they have a very natural sounding tuning.
Maybe not the most punchy in the bass region, but they reach sooooo nicely deeeeep.
Also they are very comfy on my head, so I can listen for hours with them.
As I said very addictive for me.

There's plenty of love for V2, but this is an old thread that got more or less superseded by...
V2 discussions moved onto the generic 1000 thread, and V2 has also been mentioned a lot in the SE thread - for those considering upgrading.
