Grado users.........

What time in hours did it take for your Grados to smooth out?

I am going to give them about 40 hours before critical listening.

These are SR125's.

The break-in time for my SR 60s and RS-1s is about 20 hours; after that, I just used them regularly. But I did find the sound changing over the next few weeks, finally settling comfortably.

All in all, I believe that break-in duration/method are too critical, as long as you don't overdo it. The most form of break-in is still regular use.
