Well hello all! I literally just created this account to ask for your opinions on the matter of an amp for my headphones. Well I recently just purchased the HiFiMan he-400 based upon reviews I found here on the forums. I currently have:

- Audioegine P4 passive speakers
- Audioengine N22 amp
- Polk psw-10 sub
- Sony xb500

I really wanted to ask if the N22 will be powerful enough to power my new headphones? I have seen that a majority of people run the Schiit Magni and Modi with the he-400 but since I already have an amp I don't want to continue adding unnecessary gear. I listen to mostly electro house, dnb, dubstep, etc. but i also like to listen to rock and classical. Thank you

The Audioengine N22 should easily drive the HE-400.
Is it a good amplifier to drive it??

Ask here about what is good for amplifying the HE-400s.

It will be fine, it's made to power speakers and the HE-400's are really easy to drive, the magni will power the HE-600's

Do you mean the HE-6? It might be worth mentioning that they are not driven properly with the Magni.
