brainwavz, HM5/OEM cable compatibility

Can anyone advise if the HM5 replacement cables from mp4nation are compatible with the other branded iterations of the headphone? I'm in Aus and picked up the Jaycar version which only ships with the 3m cable but would like a short cable if I want to run the phones off my pmp.

Link to the 1.3m spare cable.  For those JayCar (Digitech) people like myself looking for the smaller cable that comes with the HM5.

Sorry to revive this but, this cable has been out of stock for almost two months already, and I was wondering if there is any other options. I beg for one of these cables...
