That's a very nice sounding PCDP. Mine's extremely picky about dust and fingerprints on CDs though.

Well, it does have a skipping problem. I guess $50 is a good price if you have the technical knowledge.

sometimes old players all they need to work is a good cleaning in the laser assembly, clean and relube...i have resurected few players just by cleaning the old sticky grease...if this is the case with the player it would be easy and cheap...

Hi,

Since the unit is skippy, I won't recommend it. I had the exact same problem and I believe the only way to get rid of it is to replace the laser unit or the laser need to be adjusted.

Hardly any skipping problems with mine. I bought it 2 months ago from a person who kept it in immaculate shape, basically like brand new. It reads some of my CD's that have scratches all over them. It is the best sounding portable I've ever had the chance to hear!

It says he haven't had time to fix the unit, but that translates to him not being able to fix it without some major changing of parts when I read it. And no I'm not trying to scare anyone off because I've bid on it myself
