My first pair started popping and clicking shortly after I paired them. So, I immediately had a second pair sent. My son also has a pair of these and has had no issues at all with his, but as soon as I take (either mine or his) and put them on my head using the same playback device, I get the intermittent connectivity (popping, skipping and stuttering). Same with my wife, if she takes my headphones and puts them on, they work flawlessly. What gives. Should I give up on these or wait for a firmware update?

Is the phone in your pocket? Could you try to place it on a surface in front of you then take some steps back? Sometimes the location of the phone also makes a difference, especially with the PI7 working with a primary/secondary setup which will change which is primary/secondary on boot up. I know on some specific BT headphones, placing the phone in my left pocket vs right pocket can cause it to cut out completely. Most manufacturers try to test for anomalies like this during testing, but it's generally not possible to get all anomalies.

Hey thanks for the reply. I’ve tried it many ways. Mostly with either my phone or iPad directly in front of me or on a table that I am sitting at. I will try this tomorrow with some steps back and report back. I really love these and want them to work out but I have hardly ever used them for any length of time (10-15 minutes) without them doing this.
