Wish I had some scotch tonight. Old. On the rocks. Straight. No water. Served by an exceptionally skanky looking bartender.

Bourbon is good, scotch is bad. At one time I drank a lot of Jim Beam and Jack Daniels. Before that it was Seagrams 7. Now I drink Bushmills whiskey.

So has food, over bearing mothers, abusive fathers, bullies, drugs and the list goes on and on. Moderation is the key. A drink now and again does no harm. Look at how everyone except the US attempts to treat alcoholics. We are the only place that believes lifelong abstinence is the way to go.

I like Scotch myself, Johnnie Walker Black Label.

now I'm into Single Malts.

They are so different from distellery to distillery.

I like 18 year old Glenlivet right now but every time I go to a restaurant that has single malts I try something new.

It's a perfect drink - 1 glass (on the rocks please and don't desecrate it with the local H2O) is just fine for sipping before a fine meal. More than that is gluttony!

mmm....

ok,
