I'm pretty impressed. It's very expensive, however, if what's in the presentation video is true, which seems Bose did actually put some time and work into this, then I'm down with it.

I'm impressed with something from Bose for once!

Ya, I'd like AudioHolics to review this. I had a Yamaha sound-projector (used similar technology without a built-in HDTV) and it was pretty good.

Any word on price?

Yeah that's certainly awesome but still Bose needs to consider their high prices even with this!

Well, they should reconsider their prices for people like us, but most of their customers do have that kind of money, and think they are selling well ...

I don't think that the picture quality is going to be any better than a 500 USD HDTV. All bose mentioned about picture quality is that its 1080p (which isn't a big deal now).

Get a 55 inch Panasonic plasma for around 2500 USD, a Yamaha YSP5100 for 2200 USD and a Sony BPD S570 for 300 USD. (All prices in MSRP, you might find them cheaper)

Sit back and enjoy your 3D Avatar. I am almost sure that the Bose will not deliver a better audio nor picture quality. You only have to deal with the placing your soundbar (with Bose Videowave it's in the TV). Little bulkier but MUCH better quality and features for you money.

Bose, again, made an excellent product with an insanely high price tag. Only buy it if you have nowhere to spend you money... otherwise go with other brand, you'll get much more for your money.
