I used to own a pair of Bose MIE2i but I misplaced it and I need to buy a replacement.
I mainly use earphones on my iPhone for music when I'm going to school, work, etc.
I listen to a lot of electronic, trance, dance, rock and some times rap.
I like my music bass heavy and I thought the Bose was doing a pretty good job but it lacks noise cancellation.

I'm looking for in ear earphones with inline phone and music control, heavy bass, not too flimsy, ~$200.
Thanks in advance!

I would actually recommend the audio technica ckm500's to you guys, cheaper than the crappy bose in ears, good bass, plenty of colors and of course good sound. Ckm500i is the one you are looking for if you want mic and inline controls. I had the first bose in ear years ago and even my ckm55 is a huge improvement to them, the ckm500 is supposed to be even better than ckm55.

First off a quick note to Eddie, when helping it helps to NOT run the gear down the OP's were using... They might disregard your advice out of hand.

To the OP's, Eddie's recommendation isn't a bad one. You are coming from a hybrid bud/in ear design in the Bose IE2, one that is Very comfortable. As such you might find many IEM's uncomfortable as they are a lot more in ear than your used to. The AT mentioned has an offset tip that is relatively shallow and controlled by the rest of the IEM from going in to deep.

Take a look through Joker's review thread for IEM's with this design and pick one with a good rating that fit's your budget.

Sorry I have not heard either of those.
