I have a Bose Companion 2 that I use for my computer...
Sometimes it is annoying because I can't turn down the bass..
Is there anything that I can do to control this??

You could put a graphic equalizer between the computer and the speakers. I'd look for an inexpensive used one on eBay.

What media player do u use? iTunes has Bass Reducer in its EQ
