Hey guys! I find myself with lots of free time occasionally, and I like to fill it up with working on DIY electronics (which has quickly become a hobby!) Can anyone recommend me some DIY electronics websites that contain schematics, parts lists, and such for building stuff? (not just audio, but cool/unusual things like DIY cable modems, DIY sound cards, DIY video game systems, etc. etc.)

Thanks a bunch!

I have enough projects to keep you busy for a very long time.
And empty your wallet too...

I currently maintain a FAQ site and used to maintain another, and I would regularly get questions emailed to me that were answered right in the FAQ!

The other thing I've noticed is that people will ask a question on a forum or by email instead of just doing a Google search, which would quickly turn up the answer. What I don't understand is how it's quicker to wait for someone to answer by mail instead of doing a Google search.

It isn't you, Rick, and it isn't your sticky posts. People are just funny.

I've used the DIY Links Resource sticky, as well. Very informative.

Also, I always look forward to your occasional threads that point to a handbook, datasheet, schematic, or whatnot. Also very informative.

Keep up the good work, Rick.

D.
