I am looking for a pair of Bookshelf speakers for about $350. I am only familiar with mainstream brands like polk, boston acoustics, etc.

When it comes to high end brands, the only one I am familiar with is B&W. It would be of great assistance to list the upper scale brands that offer any bookshelf speakers for under $350 or so.

Energy CB-20
Energy RC-10
Axiom M3v2

All of the above have received great reviews. Which one is the best is still an open debate from what I've seen hehe.

I second these suggestions. Also if you can search used sometimes you can stumble on Focal bookshelves for under $300 . . . they can sound downright stunning for a bookshelf.

Seas, scan-speak, usher, Dayton and accuton are some speaker driver brands. Most speaker brands don't make their own drivers. Some high-end Scanspeak and Accuton drivers are used in really expensive speakers, even exceeding 10k.

I'd look at something along these (NHT) lines, or Epos. I like the fact that the Classic 3 is a 3-way design. plus i have heard them and they are worth the 349.00 asking price
NHT - Classic Model Three-Audio Advisor

I really really really want to try/buy the NHT Classic 3. Specs and aesthetics look amazing.

They seem to be 350$ for 1 speaker. Quite a lot more expensive than all the other options listed here.
