A few minutes ago his 756th HR ball was sold.
Final Price w/Buyer's Premium is $752,467 at auction.
I've been monitoring the bidding since about 3 p.m. today.
At about 3 p.m. the highest bidding was only $384,957.
At about 3 p.m.the number of bids was 21.
The final number of bids was 31. It means that during the last four hours or so,
the number of bids increased by 10.

His 755th HR ball was sold for $186,750 a few hours earlier at the same auction. -
It includes Buyer's Premium. The number of bids was only 11.

Bidding for both HR balls started Tue, Aug 28 10:00 AM.

For comparison, Hank Aaron's 755th HR ball was sold for $650,000 in 1999.

Mark McGwire's 70th HR ball - for the single season record back then - was sold for 3,000,000 in Jan. 1999.
Yes that is 3 MILLION including commision ($305,000). -
The most money ever paid for a sports articraft.

By the way, Bonds' 700th HR ball was sold for $102,000 a while ago.
His 715th HR ball - "passing" Babe Ruth's record - was sold for $220,100 last year.

Note that both Bonds and McGwire cheated to set their records!

What are your thoughts, comments....?

P.S.
Bonds' 73rd HR ball, surpassing Mark McGwire for the single season record,
sold in 2001 for $517,500.
Cheater Bonds surpassing cheater McGwire ..... ha, ha, ....

Bonds was never charged with taking steroids, and there is no proof that he knowingly took them. So as good Americans that we should be, assume that he is innocent until he is proven guilty.

On another note, thats a lot of money for that guy to finish college with.

I agree! Both Bonds and McGwire are 'steroid virgins'!

Yeah, that's a piece of change paid for a baseball.

First part correct, 2nd part wrong. He was never charged BUT to say there is no proof is incorrect, when he admitted to taking "the clear" without his knowledge, as did Gary Sheffield

As for the price, when looked back 10,20, 50 years from now, it will be a steal of a deal, as the ball will be sold for millions down the road, even if it is worthless in most fans eyes.

That's not how one begins a sentence with "note". You made no prior mention to it, then presented it as if you had proven it earlier. Have any shreds of evidence lying around? Oh, fresh out? Shame.

I wonder how much the ball would have gone for if he hadn't been juiced? Twice as much? Too bad we'll never know.
