I'm looking to replace a pair of bluebuds x for a pair of on-ear headphones for use while jogging and other outdoor activities, such as mowing my lawn. Here are my requirements (in order of necessity):
- Not an IEM*
- Bluetooth or otherwise wireless
- Stays in place and keeps a seal during activities
- Fairly lightweight
- Good at keeping out background noise (passive noise reduction a plus)
- Does not look absolutely rediculous to wear while exercising
- Sound quality
Sound quality is at the bottom of my list. I know I'm not going to get of a pair of bluetooth headphones that sound amazing. I'll mostly be listening to podcasts on these with the occasional Spotify playlist, so any music that's going to come through these cans will be highly compressed and lose most of its fidelity, so I'm not that concerned about it.
* I currently own a pair of bluebuds x and I can't get a good seal with them no matter what tips I use or what I try. I'm afraid if I get another pair of IEMs that it will just be the same story all over again.
