I have been needing a good pair of earphones for the gym. To give you an idea of the activity I do in the gym, I mainly do powerlifting. So bluetooth/wireless is necessary,

I stumbled upon the brand Advanced sound on massdrop, where they're offering the evo X:
https://www.massdrop.com/buy/advanced-sound-evo-x-wireless-iems

These seem to be well reviewed here on head-fi, but then I got to looking at the rest of advanced sound's offerings and saw the Model 3, which for ~$20 more could be a big improvement?

Are there any other offerings I should be looking at?

Thank you,
Craig

I haven't heard either of the Advanced--sorry. That said, I do like the Beyerdynamic Byron BTA quite a lot. Well made. Sound really, really  solid. They are a step up in hudget, unfortunately. But if you are willing to spend more, you should definitely read about them and see what you think. They might work for you. On the other hand, the over-ear design of the Evo X might work better in the gym.

Thanks for the reply! I actually pulled the trigger on the advanced sound Evo X before this post was approved by moderators. They seem to very well reviewed by a few members here. I'll check out the Berydynamic Byron BTA still!
